The cards were chosen in the 2015 Holiday Greeting Card Competition run in the schools.
Hamilton will use the artwork of Brandon Hoak, who is a junior at Stamford High School, on her holiday greeting card. Hoak is the student of art teacher Module Downer.
Martin will use the artwork of Nathalie Medero, a sophomore at Stamford High School, on his card this year. Medero is the student of art teachers Margaret Zielinski and Paul Cusano.
Each year, the superintendent and mayor ask art teachers to submit student work for consideration. This year, the winners were selected blindly from among more than 100 secondary school student submissions. In addition to the winners, the Martin and Hamilton each also designated two runners-up, whose work they felt was exceptional from among the many submissions.
The superintendent's runners-up are Sarah Shattuck, a senior at Westhill High School, art teacher, Jessyca Ryan; and Xiao Luo, a sophomore at Stamford High School, art teacher, Module Downer.
The mayor's runners-up are Blake Waldner, of Dolan Middle School, art teacher, Jennifer Marchette; and Alexa Cedeno, a junior at Stamford High School, art teacher, Wendy Wade.
Select submissions will be on display in the lobby of the Government Center through Jan. 5.
